Tips for clip in hair extensions:
1.Comb your hair extensions with either a comb or a brush; make sure all knots and tangles are gone. Use a spacious wired comb.
2.With warm water gently wet the extensions.
3.Put shampoo on them, you don't need to be rough with them. Combing the hair product through with your fingers should be fine. Use a shampoo with low or absolutely no sulfates.
4.Rinse out the shampoo.
5.Apply conditioner. Conditioner makes them easier to comb once they're dry, softer and more shiny.
6.Once you've rinsed out the conditioner and they've dried, comb through the extensions so they're not tangled. You may blow dry the extensions, but first apply a heat protectant to prevent possible damage to the hair. You can leave the extensions out in the sun to dry if you're in a hurry, they'll need straightening.
7.You won't need to wash them every night or even every second night; just once a week or once a fortnight should be fine. Use a dry shampoo if necessary. Hair will normally be prone to more damage such as breakage or hair loss if washed regularly.
8.Comb them once you've taken them out or it'll be harder to get the tangles out. Tie a loose ponytail around the extensions to refrain from knotting.
Tips for fusion hair extension:
1.Do not wash your hair until 48 hours after the extensions have been installed.
2.Brush dry the hair out completely with an extension brush before entering the shower and before bedtime. It prevents extension matting and tangling, and spreads nourishing oil throughout the extensions.
3.Wash every 2 days or less and do not wash your hair upside down. Do not scrub hair aggressively. Do not get shampoo or conditioner on the bonds.
4.Use good quality hair shampoo and conditioner. Stay away from ones that contain sulfur and alcohol as it breaks down the bond faster than desired.
5.Use a thermal heat protectant solution when styling hair. Do not flat iron or apply excessive heat to the bond itself. Remember that it was installed with heat!
6.At bedtime, braid hair into two side braids or in a high ponytail to prevent tangling and matting at the root area. Use a satin pillow to also prevent tangling.
7.Avoid salt water and chlorine water. Wear a swim cap.
8.Never fall sleep on wet hair extensions. Make sure the hair and bonds are dry before bedtime to avoid matting.
Tips for micro loop hair extension:
1.Avoid Swimming Pools
No type of hair extension does well in swimming pool water—and chlorinated water will damage even your natural hair. Therefore, you are advised to stay away from the pool!
When swimming and bathing, keep your hair out of the water by firmly tying your hair into a ponytail and plaiting the remaining hair. Tie the end with a rubber band so that the ponytail and plait stay neat.
If, however, you really want to take a few dips in the water, be sure to avoid excessive periods underwater and do your best to stay away from chlorinated or sea water. Chlorine damages the cuticle layers of both your natural hair and micro-ring hair extensions, which is the main reason why your hair becomes matted and dried out after a day in the pool. If you get your hair wet in chlorinated water or sea water, rinse all traces of it out as soon as possible.

2.Brush Your Hair on a Regular Basis
You want to avoid tangles at all costs. Brushing your hair extensions regularly will help achieve this. Gather your hair to one side and firmly take hold of it in one hand. With the other, begin brushing the ends of your hair. Holding it will ensure that you are not pulling on your extensions while you are working on detangling the ends. Gradually work your way up until you have to let go of your hold, and comb the rest of your hair. It is recommended to purchase a good extension brush and extension detangling comb.
3.Tie Your Hair Back While You Sleep
Again, this is to avoid tangles. Tie your hair back in a loose braid so that movement in your sleep does not create tangles.
4.How to Wash Hair Extensions While You Shower
Taking a shower while wearing micro loop hair extensions is not difficult to do, nor does it require any tedious and inconvenient care. Comb your hair first with a wide-toothed comb before you step in the shower. Adjust the water pressure to a point that cannot damage or pull your extensions off your head. Step into the shower while allowing your hair to hang naturally behind your ears and shoulders, and gently massage your hair in a vertical motion only to keep the strands aligned. Apply shampoo and massage hair in the same manner to lather. Ensure that no shampoo nor dirt particles remain when you rinse your micro loop hair extensions. Apply a good-quality conditioner to your hair, so that it stays protected from the elements throughout the day, but avoid applying the conditioner to the roots of your hair.
5.How to Style Hair While Wearing Micro Loop Extensions
Styling is never too difficult. Just make sure that you do not comb too deeply into the micro loop. Please note that all types of extensions require a certain style of gentle combing. Use a wide-toothed comb and comb from the tips and gradually make your way to the scalp. Avoid hitting the micro loop whilst combing. Should your micro loop hair extensions get accidentally detached due to these activities, your hair extensions salon will be able to reaffix them for you.
6.Avoid Damaging the Joins of Your Extensions
Tying your hair back in a tight ponytail is bad even for natural hair, causing breakage. Do not do this with your extensions—it can weaken the joins. Similarly, do not use hot oils, anti-dandruff shampoos, nor head lice treatments since such products are also potentially damaging to the joins.
Tips for wearing seamless tape in hair extensions:
1.Do not wash your hair until 48 hours after the extensions have been installed.
2.Never sleep with wet hair extensions. Always make sure the hair is dry and pulled up or preferably put into a braid to keep hair from tangling at night.
3.Brush the hair with a hair extension brush several times a day. Be sure to brush properly, holding the roots to prevent pulling on the bonds. Use a wide tooth comb to remove tangles if needed.
4.Use high quality hair care products but don’t overdo it, too much hair care product can cause build up and tangling over time. So you want to be careful with the amount of product you use. Never use any products containing oil, alcohol or ethanol as this can damage the hair extensions and also wear down on the adhesive. Try your best to use sulfate free shampoo and conditioner as well as 100% natural hair products to keep hair extensions in good condition.
5.Never lighten the hair extensions. If you want to color hair extensions only go within 2 shades DARKER.
6.When using hot tools be sure to use a heat protectant spray! The more you use heat on your hair, the shorter the life-span of the hair extensions.
7.Do not use a flat iron directly on the tape tabs. This will weaken the bond and they will slip out.
8.When using conditioner, condition from mid-shaft to ends only. Do not apply conditioner to your scalp when wearing tape in hair extensions.
9.When using serums or oils avoid contact with the tape, use on mid length to ends only. We use natural products such as coconut oil on the ends of the extensions to keep the hair healthy and shiny over time.
10.Clarifying shampoo BEFORE going to your stylist is KEY. The stylist should also use clarifying shampoo prior to installing the hair extensions. Conditioner should not be used during application of hair.
11.Since a person’s average natural hair loss is between 50-100 strands per day you will see a small amount of naturally released hairs in between the tape bonds at time of removal. This is normal and should not be interpreted as hair loss due to wearing hair extensions.
At the end of the day, this hair is gorgeous and so are you! We want to keep it that way! So take care of your hair and you will find out how long they last!
Tips for weave
1.Shampoo At Least Bi-Weekly, If Not Weekly
Just like you would treat your own head of hair, wash it. Oils and dirt cause build up which is a no-go. Some ladies prefer to co-wash (using only conditioner), which is perfectly fine but remember you still want to use a clarifying shampoo that will remove any and all debris. If you wash your hair weekly you can switch in between a regular shampoo and co-washing.
2.Condition Your Hair
It is important that you condition your weave, especially with curly tresses. Conditioning helps with detangling, define curl pattern (if any), and adds moisture to the hair.
3.Thoroughly Dry Your Hair
We recommend sitting under a dryer for at least 1 to 2 hours to make sure your entire hair is dry (even the braids).
4.Sleep With a Satin Scarf and/or Pillow
This is the best way to protect your hair at night. We actually recommend you use both the satin scarf and pillow. These satin items help your hair retain moisture and keep your tresses soft, silky and laid.
5.Braid Your Hair At Night (For Curly Hair)
Curly tresses have an extra step for nighttime routines, unless you want to wear your straight hair wavy. Sectioning the hair and braiding it is essential to maintaining the curl pattern and defining waves. Once you braid it, tie your hair with a satin scarf when you’re ready for bed.
6.Keep Those Edges Laid
Whether it’s fly-aways or untamed edges, use a dab of light holding pomade on your edges that will leave them smooth. Avoid products with alcohol, as they are a drying agent.
7.Give Your Hair A Break
Sometimes you gotta switch it up. Wear your own hair for a few weeks and give your scalp some time to breathe, this allows less stress on your hair from the braids. And most importantly, enjoy the growth results from properly taking care of your weave!
How to wash
Wash with over 40 degrees warm water, please wash down the hair from the top with shampoo, comb first then use conditioner, soak hair in water for 5 minutes before to dry it. Natural airing will be better for hair extensions.
